Elkin's Ferry was the site of the Civil War Battle of Elkin's Ferry, an engagement within the Camden Expedition. The site spans Nevada and Clark Counties.[3]

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994, and, with other sites, is part of the Camden Expedition Sites National Historic Landmark.

It was declared part of the National Historic Landmark in 1994.[2],[4],[3]
